Scanvision
The ScanVision utilizes technology similar to an EKG, but instead of measuring heart muscle activity, it assesses muscular compensation along the spine. This scanning surface EMG (sEMG) exam functions as an electronic form of palpation, offering an objective way to measure and track spinal muscle activity — a key indicator of spinal health.
The exam is quick, completely painless, and takes only a couple of minutes. We include this scan in every initial exam and re-exam to document patterns of muscle guarding, determine the need for care, and monitor your progress over time.
DynaROM
DynaROM is a dynamic test used to measure pain and muscle guarding resulting from soft tissue injuries. Sensors are placed on the body to simultaneously record your range of motion and your muscle activity. During the test, you’ll be asked to perform various movements while the sensors graph your responses in real time. This data helps objectively establish the need for care and track your progress throughout treatment.
We primarily use DynaROM testing for evaluating injuries related to auto accidents.
